Play Label saw the light in 2008 as an artistic collective project composed by emerging talents from the Brussels electronic scene.

Having experienced steady growth, Play Label has evolved over the years from a collective of amateur enthusiasts into a professional association, now orchestrating a diverse array of events both in Brussels and internationally.

Play Label has organized numerous large-scale electronic music events in iconic locations across Brussels, including Cinquantenaire, Bois de la Cambre, Atomium, Mont des Arts, Place Poelaert, and Place Sainte Gudule. It has also brought its unique touch to urban spots like Square Marnix, the Porte de Namur roundabout, and the Porte de Namur tunnel during Car-Free Day.

The organization has further specialized in outdoor pop-up rooftops, such as the Play Label Rooftop—the first electronic music rooftop in the capital—which enlivened Brussels' summer seasons for eight years. More recently, it introduced the Albert Summer Rooftop in collaboration with Catclub and the Royal Library of Belgium, as well as the Bozar Rooftop atop the iconic museum.

With hundreds of events to its name, including open-air festivals and a warehouse project on the city’s outskirts, Play Label has firmly established itself as a key player in Brussels' music scene. It has now taken a significant step forward by opening its own club: La Cabane.
